Odyssey Advances Zero Torque Forward and Heel-Ward
The new Odyssey S2S TRI-HOT SB putters redefine the concept of "Zero Torque" in both appearance and feel. With an innovative multi-material construction, we have successfully moved the centre of gravity forward, allowing the shaft to enter the head on the topline. This design creates a naturally square setup without any shaft lean, effectively removing one of the largest obstacles in adopting zero-torque configurations.
The SB (Single Bend) design shifts the shaft towards the heel, providing a more traditional aesthetic at address while fully preserving zero-torque performance. The result is a zero-torque putter crafted in a non-centre-shafted design that features clean, unimpeded alignment and an intuitive setup.
Zero Shaft Lean with Heel-Ward Hosel Position
By advancing the centre of gravity (CG) forward, we have positioned the hosel spud directly on the topline, bringing it noticeably closer to the face compared to typical zero-torque putters. This results in a more intuitive and comfortable setup.
The SB (Single Bend) shaft, which shifts the hosel towards the heel, provides a conventional look and an unobstructed view of the sightline while maintaining the integrity of zero torque performance.
Multi-Material Construction
By strategically combining Aluminium, Steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten, we have engineered a "Zero Torque" putter that places more than 80% of its weight under the topline, thereby supporting our forward CG and hosel design.
Ai-DUAL Insert
Utilising Artificial Intelligence, this dual-layer urethane insert features a soft outer layer coupled with a firm inner layer, delivering consistent ball speed across the face, improved forward roll along the face, and an exceptional feel.
New F.R.D. Groove Design
This innovative Forward Roll Design groove features a deeper and more aggressive 19° slope, working in harmony with the dual-layer design to enhance forward roll both up and down the face.
New Pistol Plus Grip
Extensive surveys of the most popular grips used on Tours globally revealed commonalities and opportunities for refinement. The result is a mid-sized pistol grip with sharp edges, allowing it to rest comfortably in your hands while providing better awareness of the putter face throughout your stroke.
Black SL 120 Shaft
This black PVD shaft, developed from feedback provided by Tour players, is heavier and stiffer than the SL 90, making it ideally suited for this particular style of putter.
