Odyssey has Transformed Zero Torque with Forward and Heel-Ward Adjustments

The revolutionary Odyssey S2S TRI-HOT SB putters redefine the concept of “Zero Torque,” transforming both its look and feel. By employing multi-material construction, we have successfully shifted the centre of gravity forward, enabling the shaft to enter the head along the topline. This design promotes a naturally square setup without the need for shaft lean, effectively eliminating one of the main obstacles associated with implementing zero-torque designs.

The SB (Single Bend) configuration repositions the shaft toward the heel, presenting a more familiar appearance at address while fully maintaining the advantages of zero-torque performance. The outcome is a zero-torque putter in a non-centre-shafted form, offering clear, unobstructed alignment and an intuitive setup.

Zero Shaft Lean with Heel-Ward Hosel Position

By advancing the CG forward, we have positioned the hosel spud directly on the topline, closer to the face compared to conventional zero-torque putters. This innovative layout fosters a more instinctive and comfortable setup.

The SB (Single Bend) shaft further relocates the hosel toward the heel, delivering a traditional aesthetic and an unhindered view of the sightline, all while retaining the benefits of zero torque performance.

Multi-Material Construction

Through the strategic use of aluminium, steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten, we have crafted a “Zero Torque” putter that places more than 80% of its weight beneath the topline, facilitating our forward CG and hosel position.

Ai-DUAL Insert

Developed using Artificial Intelligence, this dual-layer urethane insert features a soft outer layer and a firm inner layer. This design not only ensures consistent ball speeds across the face but also enhances forward roll both up and down the face, coupled with exceptional feel.

New F.R.D. Groove Design

Our new Forward Roll Design groove features a deeper and more aggressive structure with a 19° slope. This groove design works in harmony with the dual-layer construction to further improve forward roll across the face.

New Pistol Plus Grip

After examining the most popular grips used on Tours worldwide, we identified common traits and opportunities for enhancement. The result is a mid-sized pistol grip featuring crisp edges, ensuring a comfortable fit in your hands while increasing awareness of the putter face throughout your stroke.

Black SL 120 Shaft

This black PVD shaft, designed based on feedback from Tour players, is heavier and stiffer compared to our SL 90, making it ideally suited for this putter style.
