Callaway have achieved this by using their Speed Optimised Technology, by lowering the drag on the club head, the forged composite crown lower the weight in the club head. If you combine both of these factors you will get a faster club head speed and faster ball speeds which mean that you will hit the ball incredible distances effortlessly.

Wait a minute that is not all…...They have then used their Hyper Speed Face. Hyper Speed Face on the Callaway Big Bertha V Series Driver means that you get faster balls speeds across the whole face for even more distance.

Once you know you can hit the Callaway Big Bertha V Series Driver a long long way you then have the option of fine tuning the flight of your drives with the use of the Callaway OptiFit Hosel Technology. Callaway’s OptiFit Hosel technology allows you to choose from 8 different loft and lie angles, you can go up in loft by 1° or 2° or down in loft by -1° and then you can change the face angle to either neutral or draw bias depending on your preference.

The designers and engineers at Callaway have looked specifically at two groups of players when designing the Callaway Big Bertha V Series and have then made two different clubs based upon their findings. The shaft that comes in the 10.5° and the 13.5°HT is totally different to the shaft that comes in the 9° head. You get premium lightweight shafts in both heads but the playing characteristics of a 9° golfer and 13.5° golfer are significantly different to warrant different shafts.

In our opinion the first time we saw the Callaway Big Bertha V Series we all thought we had an original great Big Bertha Warbird in our hands, however when we hit the clubs we realised we were dealing with something unique and seriously long.
