Titleist 915 D3 Driver - Review

Titleist 915D3 Driver

Titleist Authorised Online Retailer

Sorry, this product has sold out or may have been discontinued.

Titleist are one of the few brands that have kept a similar design for decades. So you won’t be surprised when you address the 915 D3 to see it's got the familiar signature pear shape head.

This is the first big design change to a Titleist Driver we have seen in years with the main feature being the "active recoil channel" at the sole of the club.

The 915D3 driver has the more compact 440cc head of the two 915 series drivers. Titleist says this creates a more workable club with the ability to control trajectory and shape on drives and is something that its tour players prefer.

Active Recoil Channel
Titleist has proven the crown of the head moves at impact creating the ball to rise up the face which increases the spin rate. To combat this the “active recoil channel” enables the sole of the club to work in conjunction with crown to reduce the spin rate which can add distance to your drives.

Radial Speed Face Technology
Due to the ball being so hot off the face, Titleist have had to thicken the sweet-spot for it to conform to R&A regulations, this has enabled them to reduce the thickness around the perimeter to create more speed and forgiveness on off-centre hits. They have called this breakthrough "Radial Speed Face technology".

High MOI Design
The Titleist 915 D3 still has its signature playability with the MOI (weight in layman's terms) remaining at the back of the club.

Precision Fit - Sure Fit Tour Hosel
Titleist hasn’t changed the SureFit Tour Hosel system that proved so popular on the 910 and 913 range. The SureFit hosel allows golfers to tailor their Titleist 915D3 driver to maintain optimal performance.
