The TaylorMade M CGB SINGLE iron/wedge have pushed the limits of engineering to max out the distance and forgiveness achieved throughout the set.
Each of the faces of the M CGB irons feature a 2mm face thickness, a high and consistent COR and an ultra-low CG location of which all combine to produce an easy launch, high trajectory, incredible fast ball speeds and optimised spin for the ultimate performance.
The low CG CG location not only helps with launch but when combined with the multi-material head technology, Speed Pocket and Face Slots technology the M CGB irons feature an extremely high MOI that will deliver incredible forgiveness and consistency on good and bag strikes.
All this distance and forgiveness is matched by the premium feel and sound performance of the iron head. TaylorMade have used a damper and 3D sound-managing badge in the cavity to optimise sound performance as well as dampen vibration.
In keeping with distance design TaylorMade have fitted the Nippon NS Pro 840 shaft as standard in the M CGB iron. The NS Pro 840 is a lightweight steel shaft that will make loading the shaft much easier for greater energy transfer into the ball.
