The Scotty Cameron Concept X-01 Putter pushes the boundaries of a modern blade putter.
Starting out originally as a drawing of a Newport putter the design of the Concept X-01 Putter evolved from prototype to marketplace quite quickly due to the performance benefits of the design.
This modern design incorporates the body of a Newport putter with the playability, forgiveness and stability of a mallet with the high-MOI-producing wings.
The neck of the Concept X-01 Putter features a traditional plumbing neck design, however Scotty Cameron have called this a Nuckle Neck design as it allows them to save weight for the relocation of the wings.
The head itself is a stainless steel body with a mid-milled 303 stainless insert. This design enhances the balance of the putter throughout the stroke as well as improving sound, feel and weight distribution. Heel-toe weighting in the sole will improve the stability of the head through impact. These weights are length specific to improve the overall balance and feel of the putter.
