Amidst Family Tragedy Jason Day Wins ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf
When Jason Day learned eight of his family members including his grandmother had died as a result of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, he contemplated dropping out of the World Cup of Golf tournament.  But instead the 26-year-old decided to play through personal tragedy and on Sunday captured his first victory since 2010.

“It's just been an amazing tournament for me,” the TaylorMade player said afterwards.  “It would have been the easiest thing for me to just go ahead and pull out of the tournament with what has been going on over the last week.  But I really wanted to come down here and play.”

The Australian born Day gave a strong showing on the final day, holding off second place winner Thomas Bjorn, who led the first two days of the tournament.  Using the TaylorMade R1 Driver, Day was able to secure his fourth professional win by two strokes.  Finishing with a 10-under total of 274.
