Face To Path Control

Mark Crossfield is asked - “Hi Mark, I currently play off 12 and in recent weeks, my strike has improved a lot, however i'm still struggling with consistent accuracy. I can pull and push my tee shots, my fairway mid+long iron shots. Feels like i'm struggling to square my face to path, no matter whether i'm trying for a draw, fade or straight shot. Any advice for my next practice steps would be much appreciated. Keep up the good work.“

Mark looks at how to become more consistent by only working on playing one shape of shot.  He discusses how Rory Mcilroy works on hitting a draw so he knows what his swing will do and what happens when he isn't timing it quite right.  Other great examples of players that really focus on one shape are greats such as Jack Nicklaus and Colin Montgomerie who are famous for perfecting a fade whilst negotiating their way around their victories on tour.
