SureFit CG has been perfectly placed allowing the Centre of Gravity to be moved without negatively affecting the MOI. Resulting in more consistent impact, more consistent spin, better shot shaping, swingweight adjustability and significant weight saving versus “track” systems.
The
Titleist 917 D2 Driver 460cc is the larger of the two and offers maximum forgiveness and performance off the tee. This driver benefits from Titleist’s Radial Face technology to offer explosive ball speeds off the face as well as the brand’s incredible Active Recoil Channel, reengineered for the 917 drivers to offer more forgiveness on low off-centre hits plus increased face stability throughout impact.
For a more traditional Tour-inspired look check out the
Titleist 917 D3. Crafted to a smaller 440cc pear shape, this driver offers more workability with a slightly lower launch and less spin than the D2. The D3 also features Radial Face Technology as well as the Active Recoil Channel as seen on the D2. Both drivers also benefit from the SureFit hosel system. Giving you 16 independent settings that allow you to alter loft and face settings in order to fine-tune the performance of your driver.
Onto the Fairway Woods, the
Titleist 917 F2 offers all-around playability with more forgiveness and distance in a bigger profile. Golfers who choose the F2 can expect faster ball speeds across the whole of the face, which in turn provides greater distance, higher launch and lower spin. To further add to the customisation of the club Titleist have employed their industry-leading SureFit CG and SureFit Hosel system to provide the best possible fit for golfers of all abilities.
Titleist has used a smaller, more compact head on their
917 F3 Fairway Wood in order to maximise shot-making versatility. The impressive club has been specifically engineered to keep spin down in order to achieve strong ball flight without sacrificing playability or performance. Utilising the technologies seen throughout the 917 family including Active Recoil Channel, SureFit CG and SureFit Hosel. Forgiveness in the 917 F3 Fairway Wood comes from the low CG location and extremely high MOI, this is what will make those off-centre shots perform similarly to the good strikes.
