Watch the LET take on Manchester City Women’s FC in Football Golf

This week marks Women’s Sports Week in the United Kingdom. To celebrate females in sport the Ladies European Tour is taking on Manchester City Women’s Football Club in the inaugural Etihad Cross Sport Challenge.

Women’s Sports Week provides a unique opportunity to showcase female sports at every level of play. From amateurs up to elite athletes the purpose of the initiative is to raise the profile of women in sports and also encourage the next generation to get involved.

The first challenge took place earlier this week and featured two teams of three players from each professional sport taking each other on during a friendly match of Football Golf worth 150 points. LET stars Mel Reid, Carly Booth and Rosie Davies gave it their all as they went up against footballers Steph Houghton MBE, Toni Duggan and Karen Bardsley.
