Golf Prodigy hits Drone Out of the Sky with Ease

Meet 8-year-old Ruby Kavanagh. This young golfer from Australia is definitely one to watch, having finished in 32nd place earlier this year at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in North Carolina.

Ruby is now back in Australia and putting her practice on the course to good use in a way we’re pretty sure we’ve seen before.

Last month we showcased a video of PGA Tour professional Patrick Reed playing target practice with a drone. It was fun to watch the always over-confident American answer questions while trying to make contact with the flying object and commenting on Bubba Watson’s “wing shot” in a previous drone challenge. Trust us – both Reed and Watson got nothing on this kid. Check out Ruby as she plays at the Magenta Shores Golf Course and shows the pros how to hit a drone in no time!
