Odyssey X-Act Chipper

Works best from just off the green, any futher away requires a surprisingly long swing. Maybe more practice is needed but I found it no better than chipping with an 8 or 9 iron. It is probably a good buy for a beginner but the problem for most of us is which club to omit to put it in the bag.

I use this chipper all around the green and from 40 yards out. I have also used it to get out of flat bunkers around the green. Feel great in the hand just like a putter.

As a high handicapper for few times used so far it has really helped.

Perfect club for tight lies just off green, or to take out small bit of trouble in front of you if not comfotable with a tight lie.

I upgraded from a confidence chipper, wasn't sure what to expect and thinking how much better could it possible be, after using it I gave my old chipper to a mate. Excellent for chipping onto the green, especially when you have the doubt that you may hit it too far etc with the wedge, only use the wedge now for anything from 20 to 50 yards, anything closer and this chipper will see you alright

Great for chipping round the green and even over bunkers. Takes a bit of getting used to but after a while the distance control improves and I now get much close to the pin than using traditional wedges. Ideal if you pack the time to develop and maintain chipping skills and can be used effectively over quite long distances, perhaps up to 30 yards, but optimum performance within 5-10 yards of the putting surface.

Very smart way to approach without any hassle, bonus is to use it when you are under tree branches and the ball should no pop to high up.

Had a cheap ambidextrous chipper originally but upgraded to odyssey x-act chipper and what an upgrade in quality and feel, perfect chips from fairway or fringe used just like a putter. Absolutely love it

If your struggling with short chips from just off the green try this club

I got this to try something different. It works just like a putter around the first cut or from very short rough. I would think this will work better in the summer months. Perfect piece of kit for someone who has trouble with their bump and runs.

Excellent around the greens for chipping on, good feel, nice weight, ideal for beginners struggling with short game, not so good on longer grass

This is a great club for short range chipping, I would highly recommend it.

Little godsend I developed a bad dose of the sh—s on wedges around the greens and tried this little dream club , have tried chippers before but this is on a different level great feel and accuracy and it works from 100 yds and under not sure if that’s how it should be used but it works long may it last till I get my wedges back in action definitely recommend this wee star ??
