Why doesn’t Coach Lockey just hit a Fairway?

by Maura Hutchinson

In this Q&A Mark Crossfield is asked by Lee Charles Hallam "Why doesn't Lockey try and hit a cut all the time? If he plays a fade he generally keeps it in play, but can hit it off the planet with a draw. Surely the extra couple of yards isn't worth it? Have a word to him Bruh".

Mark responds, some interesting points both for and against Coach Lockey hitting a fade. Something that really does get to any golfer and makes them mad, is trying to hit the percentage shot and messing that up. It makes you feel you should have just played aggressively in the first place!
