How to hit the ball from a Downhill Lie?

In this video Mark Crossfield tackles how to play a shot when the ball is below your feet. This one of the hardest shots for most amatuer golfers as you have to change your spine angle and then maintain it through the swing.

Mark discusses how lifting the handle of the club to enable to the club to lay flat on the ground will start to point the club face further right than it already is. You need to remember other factors that will affect the shot, such as your normal shot shape and the wind when taking on your awkward stance as it will affect the shot even more then normal.
