Two Ways To Play 7 Iron chip and Run shots

In this tutorial Mark Crossfield teaches us the shot that every golfer needs in their locker, the 7 iron chip and run.

Mark describes how there are two different ways he likes to play them. The first is the more traditional method from the middle of the club, with your weight on your left side, traditional grip and run the golf ball up to the hole. The second method is slightly more unconventional in that Mark uses a style more akin to putting. He stands closer to the ball, uses his putter grip and technique.

This makes the ball come off the toe of the club, which leads a softer release from the club.
