by Maura Hutchinson

Golf fans were given two great tournaments over the weekend. Culminating in exciting wins in both South Africa and Mexico. Catch up on all the action from the European and PGA Tours below and find out what gear the pros are winning with that’s available now at GolfOnline!

It was an amazing week for South African golfer Branden Grace. On Wednesday the 29-year-old found out that he and his wife are expecting a baby boy and on Sunday he won his home country’s Nedbank Golf Challenge. Sinking a 40-foot putt on the 16th hole to secure a one-stroke victory over Scotland’s Scott Jamieson.
Grace is the first South African to win the tournament hosted by golf golf legend Gary Player since 2007 and his latest win moves him into the Top-10 in the Race to Dubai Standings.

“This is a dream come true for me,” said the Calloway player afterwards. “This is the one event that as a South African you want to win. It’s Africa’s major for a reason and a special place it is.” Adding, “There’s a lot of history and a lot of great winners on the trophy. I’m very glad to be able to put my name on the trophy as well.”

Here’s a look at Grace’s winning bag from Sunday:

Over on the PGA Tour 31-year-old Patton Kizzire secured his first win at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba in Mexico. Making his maiden victory a bit more interesting was the fact Kizzire had to play 36-holes on Sunday due to inclement weather earlier in the tournament as well as handle a late surge from Rickie Fowler in the last few holes. But the American was able to hold his nerve to finish with an impressive 19-under 265, earning him a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour plus his first invite to the Masters Tournament next April!
