The New TaylorMade Hi-Toe RAW Wedges - Sharpen up your 2021 Short Game

Over the past few years TaylorMade Golf has been making huge strides in the wedge department. Pioneering groove and spin technology to help both amateurs and pros alike tackle the rough. In 2021 they are taking all the lessons learned and combining them to offer golfers exceptional spin, precision and feel, alongside an incredibly appealing new aged copper finish. Read on to find out more about the TaylorMade Hi-Toe RAW wedges, available now at GolfOnline.

Aged to Perfection

The stand-out feature of the new Hi-Toe RAW Wedge is arguably its memorable aged copper finish. This classic and timeworn look will change over time as it oxidises. Giving way to a slightly tarnished clubface that will enrich any golfer’s bag. This RAW Face Technology has been specifically designed for increased spin and feel with sharper, narrower and deeper grooves in the face, as well as laser etched precision. The face will rust over time, the extent and speed will vary from club to club, meaning no two are completely identical. It’s a look preferred by many of the world’s greatest players, and now it can be yours.

Innovations Galore

Beyond the RAW Face, the 2021 Hi-Toe Wedges are packed with game-improving technology you’ll want to know more about. TaylorMade have employed a “Thick-Thin Design,” translating to a thinner top line, along with additional mass redistributed nearer to the top of the spine. This unique head design, commonly used in metalwoods and irons, has been employed by TaylorMade engineers to optimise CoG location for more precise flight and enhanced feel.

Milled Grind soles help to maximise consistency across the wedges, ensuring repeatable performance and turf interaction. A number of sole options have been offered in the range to cater to golfers of every ability.
  • Lofts 50-62 = Standard Sole (9 or 10 degrees of bounce)
  • Lofts 58-60 = Low Bounce Sole (7 degrees of bounce)
  • Lofts 56, 58, 60 = Big Foot Versions available (15 degrees of bounce)

On the scoring wedges and the TaylorMade Hi-Toe RAW Big Foot (56 degrees and above), Full Face Scoring Lines have been used to encourage consistent ball contact out of the deep rough and increased spin on off-centre hits. These unique ZTP face grooves give the impression of grooves, upon grooves and have been specifically engineered to offer players more greenside spin, especially in wet conditions.
