Andrew Landry secured his first PGA Tour win at the Valero Texas Open on Sunday. In just his 32nd start on Tour, the 30-year-old picked up a home-state win finishing with an impressive 17-under 271. Earning Landry a coveted Masters invite for 2019 and a hefty payday of $1,116,000.
With two wins already on the Web.com Tour, Landry is a fairly new face on the PGA Tour but with his latest victory he is hoping to continue to make his mark.
“We’re trying to get to the Tour Championship this year, and that’s kind of my goal still,” Landry told reporters after his win. Adding, “We still have a lot of work to do, but this will definitely help.”
Making his Sunday even a little sweeter – Landry’s wife and newborn son were there to help celebrate his important milestone.

Over on the European Tour France’s Alexander Levy picked up his fifth Tour title at the Trophee Hassan II. Finishing one-shot clear of Spain’s Alvaro Quiros to move to 47th in the World Golf rankings.
“This feels so good,” said Levy after his win. Adding, “I’m a little bit tired now because it was really tough today but I did a really good job today. For me, I played an amazing game. I’m so happy to win this trophy.”
The 27-year-old is now hoping to keep the momentum going as he prepares to defend his title at the Volvo China Open and bids for a spot on this year’s Ryder Cup Team. Check out the golfer’s full bag of clubs below.
