Why don't more Golfers have lessons?

Mark discusses the fact that most golfers would improve from lessons but sometimes the few that don’t will tell their friends and then none of them will go for lessons.

One thing that some may think is that after a lesson you might suddenly become a scratch golfer but in reality, it takes time and effort to improve. The fact that it might be one step back for three steps forward can often put people off.
