Callaway X Hot Irons (Steel Shaft)

Really happy with these clubs knocked a couple of shots of my score already!!

As a very casual player with a high handicap, I don't get chance to play as often as I would like. However I promised myself that when I broke 100 a few times I would treat myself as my cheap starter set was getting on a bit. I read the reviews for the Callaway X Hot irons and liked the look of them so thought I'd give them a go. WOW! They look even better in the flesh and on address they fill me with confidence that they will do what I want them to do. I expected to struggle with them for a few rounds until I got used to them, but after 9 holes I was hitting them straighter and further than my old clubs. Now part of the reason for this could be because I think the loft is a bit less, but even so I'm really impressed. |I love my new clubs and will certainly be making the effort to play more often. I even used the 4 and 5 iron where I would normally use my 5 wood, mainly because I just wanted to keep using them, but the distance and accuracy was great. My playing partner is so jealous ( I let him have a little go ) he has actually put his motorbike on ebay so he can justify buying a set to his wife!! Now if that isn't a recommendation, I don't know what is.

The main difference is the improved strike that I now have. It gives me more confidance to attack the pin as I have more assurance that the ball will stop rather than bounce. The look and feel of the clubs add to the confidence and the clubs sits nicely at address, giving me more confidence that I will strike the ball better. I would recommend these clubs to anyone.
