Ariya Jutanugarn wins the Ladies Scottish Open to regain World #1

Ariya Jutanugarn is riding high after securing her tenth LPGA title on Sunday at the Ladies Scottish Open.  Capturing her third win of 2018 by one-stroke over Minjee Lee to regain her spot at the top of the Official Rolex Rankings.

Jutanugarn’s final round 5-under 66 helped gain the links-shy player an important win at Gullane Golf Club in Scotland.

“It means a lot to me to win the tournament. I told the caddie this week, ‘you know, what I really want to win on a links course, even one time in my life will be good.’ So right now my dream come true,” Jutanugarn told reporters.

The Thai player remains at the top of her game. Playing to an incredible standard that is making everyone take notice. Jutanugarn is now firmly looking forward to this week’s RICOH Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham & St. Annes.

“I feel like I’m pretty lucky this week and I don’t know about next week,” the 22-year-old told reporters on Sunday. “I know it’s going to be tough next week and especially a major, so just need to work on the same stuff.”

Here’s a look at Jutanugarn’s winning bag. We can’t wait to see all action from the ladies major this week!
