Cobra Golf is Pulling out all the Stops with New King F7 Range

Cobra Golf is Pulling out all the Stops with New King F7 Range
Cobra Golf is determined to make its presence known in 2017. Introducing a new line of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons that boast a whole lot of tech. The brand promises the King F7 range is the most innovative lineup they have ever produced. So what’s all the hype about?

Built-in Technology you haven’t seen before…

The Cobra King F7 Driver is packed with the latest in technology, including the incredible Cobra Connect.  Available on the King F7 Driver, the King F7 HT Driver, the Ladies King F7 Driver and the King F7+ Driver, Cobra Connect is helping golfers to track their distances like never before. Seamlessly incorporated into the grip of the club it allows you to automatically record each drive and distance using your own smart phone. There is no need to buy any extras here, as it’s all included. This incredible technology gives golfers the chance to review all their STATS post round including longest drive, average driving distance and numbers of fairways hit. Pretty epic but don’t just take our word for it – Rickie Fowler’s quite smitten on the concept too!

Three Drivers in One…

Cobra has gone all out to ensure the King F7 line of drivers is different from anything else they have created before. With three different CoG settings you are able to really fine-tune the club to produce three distinct ball flights. Each of the drivers also features a multi-material Textreme Crown made from Textreme Carbon Fibre that’s 20% lighter, lowering CoG and in turn increasing distance and forgiveness.

A re-engineered Forged 8-11 Titanium E9 face is lighter, thinner and hotter than ever before.  Plus a larger sweet spot across the face ensures increased ball speed and distance, even on those pesky off-centred strikes! The King F7 Drivers also feature the MYFLY8 with Smartpad Technology. Offering you eight unique loft and lie combinations to really hone your shot trajectory and launch.

Old Technology Reimagined…

The Cobra King F7 Fairway Woods and Hybrids offer their own unique advancements.  Drawing inspiration from the past, Cobra have incorporated their classic and highly celebrated Baffler Dual Rail System to give you the ultimate forgiveness from any lie. These dual rails are designed with optimized height to ensure maximum performance benefits.

Like the King F7 Drivers, the Cobra King F7 Fairway Woods and Cobra Ladies King F7 Fairway Woods allow you to move the CoG front and back, giving you the opportunity to personally choose your desired ball flight. The shorter woods produce steeper attack angles using a steeper rail height to help reduce interference between the club head and turf, therefore reducing digging. The longer woods in the range have shallower attack angles to help the club glide through the turf more easily with less interaction.

The King F7 Fairway Woods also benefit from the brand’s MYFLY8 with Smartpad Technology. Offering you eight easily adjustable loft setting to further personalise your optimum launch conditions. Maximising distance while keeping the club head square at address regardless of the loft setting you choose.

Featuring much of the same technology as the King F7 Fairway Wood including the Baffler Dual Rail System and MYFLY8 with Smartpad Technology, the Cobra King F7 Hybrid and the Cobra Ladies King F7 Hybrid both employ a lightweight, thin forged 455 steel face that will flex evenly and across the whole of the face at impact. Producing incredibly explosive ball speeds and improved carry distance.

Mixing Physics with Golf = One Length…

Last autumn Cobra announced their latest iron design would be based on the unconventional irons of Cobra staff player, Bryson DeChambeau. The American golfer made headlines last year when it was revealed his irons were all the same length and weight of a typical 7-iron.  The Cobra King F7 One Length Irons look to offer golfers consistency in every swing. Giving them one set up, one swing and hopefully more greens. A concept DeChambeau believes will help golfers of all abilities from juniors up to adults.

“I have a more technical, unique swing than many other players, but there is a misconception that single-length irons are only for a single-plane swing like mine. That is simply not true,” the American explained in 2016. “Regardless of how you swing and what your skill level is, you can benefit from the simplicity of a constant length set of irons.”

Featuring the brand’s innovative TECFLO construction, the King F7 One Length also utilises a PWRSHELL Face, Precision Milled Grooves and a lower and more centred CoG. All of this technology Cobra says will lend its way to these irons being more consistent and precise without sacrificing forgiveness. Cobra has properly attacked this design process. Producing multiple head constructions to address the different ways each iron performs. By designing to optimise each iron’s potential the brand believes you will reap the benefits, hitting more greens and getting closer to the pin than ever before.

For those of you still not totally sold on the one-length iron concept, Cobra has also designed the King F7 Irons in a traditional Variable Length option and a super sleek design for female golfers in the Cobra Ladies King F7 Irons. Featuring the same incredible technologies to offer players more distance, forgiveness and precision.
