Victory Roundup – Major Maiden Wins and Big Redemptions on Tour

It was a weekend of highs on Tour for worthy players grinding to get the big win! Check out all the action below from the Travelers Championship and the LPGA’s KPMG Women’s PGA. Plus take a look at the gear the pros are winning with, available now at GolfOnline.

A decade of patience pays off…

On Sunday, American golfer Chez Reavie returned to the winner’s circle after an almost 11 year wait.

The 37-year-old started Sunday’s round with a six-stroke lead, but that quickly dwindled down to one with two holes left to play. Despite some of the best players on Tour applying heavy pressure, Reavie was able to hold his nerve to secure his first win since the Canadian Open back in July 2008.

Check out Reavie’s winning bag below:

First time’s a major…

Over on the LPGA Tour, 22-year-old Hannah Green secured her first LPGA Tour title in style, winning the KPMG Women’s PGA by one-stroke.

With her wire-to-wire win at Hazeltine, Green becomes only the third Australian female golfer to win a major title. The victory came as a shock to many considering Green has only had one top-10 finish this season and missed the cut at her last event.

“I am pretty much speechless,” Green said afterwards. Adding, “To win a major as my first event, I am over the moon.”

Here’s a look at the Aussie’s winning gear:
