I have had this now for about 6 weeks and first tried this rescue club off the grass at the practice ground and tried to hit it like a club, No Good. After my first 5 attempts i then addressed the ball as if it was an iron and swung quite hard to see what the result would be.
Wow the ball flew off the face like a bullet out of a gun in what i can only describe as the straightest shot i have ever hit in the 2 years i have been playing golf, 230 yards off the end of the practice green.
I left everything as standard in the adjustments and i then hit balls for about another 2 hours, i couldn't believe that these balls were being hit by me, the feeling and sound i got when you hit sounds a bit metallic but wow does it go.
I took it on the par 5's and started to use as my second shot choice and managed when hit correctly to get to a position on the green which would normally take me 3 shots with maybe a 5 iron or 4 iron. Well impressed.
The only thing i am dissapointed with is the black face as after hitting on the practice ground for 2 hours with a variety of makes of balls, the face showed lots of signs of scrating and silver lines where the ball has been in contact, and in my opinion for the price i paid i did not expect that to happen.
I know these are now discontinued but if you are thinking about getting one i would definatley recommend.
Awesome
