Bob Vokey has once again upped the ante with his latest wedge design for Titleist Golf
. Meet the new Vokey SM8
, already in the bags of many Tour players including Sunday’s Genesis Invitational winner, Adam Scott.
Building on from the impressive SM7 line, the SM8 retains the same address looks, feel and amazing spin control, whilst adding subtle tweaks to help fine tune accuracy. According to Titleist, the results produce a more consistent, pure strike that helps you hit your target more often.
One Giant Shift Forward
The SM8 improves on the Progressive Centre of Gravity design, first employed in the SM6. A dramatic reallocation of weight, pushes the CoG forward using a high density tungsten, producing a more natural square up and more accurate shots. This allows for improved feel and stability, meaning closer proximity to the hole.
