TaylorMade P790 Irons

Great set of irons. Great forgiveness, distance and control with all the irons. The only thing not so great is that I can’t get any spin when chipping with the pitching wedge.

Needed a custom sized approach wedge to go with my already purchased set. Came quicker than expected. Golfonline kept me informed at all stages. Excellent service

Although I've sat for last couple of weeks wistfully looking at the clubs rather than using them, the short period that I was able to use them after buying them has got my game rejuvenated, in the sense that my feel with my irons has come back (I was lost with my previous set), my distance has increased almost 10% per club, and confidence has soared (this game is played mostly in the head right???). Obviously won't lie and say every shot comes out of the middle an is perfect, otherwise I'd be on the tour, but there is huge potential with these clubs given a bit of work once the world is back to normal - hopefully!!!

At some point I thought I had no irons in my bag but rescue clubs all through. The distanceis amazing. I hit my pitching wedge 150 yards now am upto 165. Why I waited this long I do t know.... But am happy now with my irons..

Great looking irons, not the longest, but forgiving and beautiful to look at. Cant wait to try them out on firmer ground in the summer months

I would say I'm a keen amateur player (i.e lots to work on, but enjoy the game a great deal). These clubs are fantastic and after changing from Callaways I have really noticed the difference in my game. Strongly recommend, but certainly worth getting fitted.

The P790s are a great set of irons. I have them with graphite shafts, they provide good feel and distance. I like the fact that they are forged, good sound and contact.

Not cheap but worth it. Just upgraded from M4 s to these bad boys and they are genuinely making me a better player , less forgiving than the M4 so they force you to improve your swing and the results are fantastic not to mention they make a great sound.

Was playing on trackman 4 with my Old titleist irons, and then switched to my new p790. I saw improvement right away, and “big” ones. The feel is also alot better than my old irons.

These are excellent irons, although more expensive than other makes. They definitely provide more distance and a straighter shot but maybe not as forgiving as other makes. However, overall I have noticed a big difference especially with the longer irons.
